Over the next few weeks, we will introduce you to our four offices in northern Wyoming. Our primary office, where the bulk of our agents are, is located in Cody, Wyoming. If you’re new to Wyoming or taking a look at our blog from another state, Cody is located about 50 miles from the eastern entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Originally founded by Colonel William F. “Buffalo Bill” Cody in 1896, Cody is still well known for its beautiful scenery, small-town charm, summer rodeo (just about to begin its 101st season), and world-class Center of the West museum.
Powell, Wyoming is Cody’s neighboring town in Park County, Wyoming. Powell is located approximately 24 miles northeast of Cody and is home to Northwest College – Go Trappers! The town was founded in 1909 and grew largely from agricultural roots. Not unlike Cody, Powell has a strong sense of community, is an All-America city, and a wonderful place for families to call home. Located so close to each other, Cody and Powell cooperate in many ways to provide great opportunities for all of Park County.
As we mentioned in our previous blog post, we are the biggest team players you will ever meet, and our communities come first. If you’re in and around the Cody and Powell areas, you’ll find 307 Real Estate sponsoring local community events, athletic competitions and getting involved in any and all ways we possibly can to give back to the communities that give us so much. While being born in Wyoming is not a requirement to work for 307 Real Estate, it should be no surprise that all of our agents either have a long history in Wyoming and / or a huge love for this great state.
