Now that we have introduced you to our Cody and Powell, Wyoming offices, it is time to move over the Big Horn Mountains to Buffalo, Wyoming.
Buffalo, Wyoming sits at the base of the Big Horn Mountains, is the seat of Johnson County and has a population of just under 5,000 people. There is a tremendous recreational environment surrounding the town including walking and biking trails, a 4-star golf course, Lake Desmet and the beautiful mountains for skiing, hiking and hunting. The Buffalo community is incredibly diverse, yet united by all of the great things that Wyoming has to offer.
Another fun fact about Buffalo, Wyoming? The popular book and TV series Longmire by Craig Johnson are based around the town of Buffalo and Johnson County. Each July, the town holds a multi-day celebration of the Longmire series and of Johnson called Longmire Days. It’s not uncommon for the TV series actors to be hanging around Buffalo during these three days!

She attended Sheridan College in Sheridan, Wyoming where she graduated with an Associate of Applied Science in Hospitality Management. She is a proud “mom” of four mini-Australian Shepherds, four ducks and one Russian blue cat. Family is something that is very near and dear to Casey’s heart, as she loves to spend time with them in the mountains, riding ATVs and side-by-sides or enjoying a beautiful picnic. She has always loved living in Wyoming and feels lucky to have the Bighorn Mountains as her daily view.
