Mixing it up this week by catching up with our 2019 agent of the year, Bailey Bromley. Read on to learn a little bit more about how Bailey approaches real estate, her favorite parts of the process – and more!
Question: What got you interested in real estate? And why 307 Real Estate?
Bailey: When we built our house and did a lot of the work ourselves I had a new appreciation for the blood, sweat and tears that goes into every home, and I really started taking an interest into the housing market in our area. Additionally, I love working with people. I have been in the service industry since my first job at 14, and I love getting to meet new people and help them. Real estate just seemed like a perfect fit…helping people find their dream house.
Buying, selling, or building a home is a huge investment and going through each of those processes myself also really sparked my interest in real estate. Starting my real estate career with 307 Real Estate was no brainer. Both Jake Ivanoff and John Parsons have been in real estate for years, and it just seemed like a great fit for me.
Question: What is your favorite part of the real estate process? What do you find the most challenging?
Bailey: For me, my favorite part is when your clients fall in love with a property and are ready to make that first offer. Also, closing day is my favorite – you have made it through the buying or selling process, and everyone can finally take the next big step.
In my opinion, the most challenging part of the process is getting through inspections…You want every house to be safe and ready for the next owner so getting through inspections can be challenging because you do not want to miss anything! My job is to help buyers understand the inspection report and to help sellers negotiate well in the selling process.
Question: Is there a particular type of deal that you like? Or a specific deal that has been your favorite?
Bailey: I am always proud of deals where the clients are selling a house to buy a new house…getting the timing right and making it a smooth transition from the sell to the buy is always something I feel very proud of.
One deal I got to work with an amazing family that just moved here, and I was able to find them a home, find one member of the family a job, our kids became friends and so did the adults – it was great all around!
Question: How do you balance a full portfolio with clients while still providing the best quality service to each one?
Bailey: I care so much about each of my clients, therefore this is sometimes hard for me because I want to make sure I am there for them anytime they need me even if it is late at night or early in the morning. I really try not to put too much on my plate so I can make sure I have time for all my clients. This is a big deal for me – making sure I am available to my clients is very important to me.
Question: What are the most common real estate myths that your clients ask you about?
Bailey: A lot of times, we hear, “I thought I needed to just contact the listing agent for help” which is definitely a myth. Any agent can represent you on either side of the transaction. We also here also…”I didn’t realize that is part of your job” We do soooo many things that people don’t even realize. We will clean houses, change light bulbs, grab pets for showings, mow lawns, pack U-hauls, freshen up a house and the list goes on. We will truly do whatever we need to help you buy or sell your home.
Question: Why Wyoming? What sets Cody and 307 Real Estate apart from the rest?
Bailey: I was born and raised in Cody, Wyoming and so was many generations of my family, so Cody is Home. I went to college in Las Vegas, NV, and it was a great experience, but I was so thankful to have Wyoming to come back to! Everyone at 307 Real Estate shares the same love for Wyoming, and we TRULY love sharing our passion for this state with our clients. We love helping people find the perfect Wyoming home.
We hope you enjoyed learning a little more about Bailey and her passions for Wyoming and real estate. If you’re looking to get in touch with her, you can email her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
